There are some weddings that stay with you long after the night is over — the kind that settle gently into your heart and remind you what love is truly meant to feel like. The Younts’ wedding was one of those rare and beautiful days.
I had the honor of second shooting this wedding alongside my dear friend Dani, and from the moment we arrived, there was a softness in the air — a tenderness between them that felt quiet, deep, and timeless. Their love didn’t need attention, or grand gestures, or noise. It simply was… steady, sincere, and full of grace.
At the end of the night, I told my husband that it felt like witnessing a real-life version of The Notebook — but somehow even more profound. Not the movie kind of love, but the kind that lives in small moments… the way they looked at one another, the tears in their families’ eyes, the way the room felt full of warmth and belonging.
It was a feeling I couldn’t fully put into words — something you carry inside you after witnessing it.
I left this wedding deeply touched by their story, grateful beyond words to have stood beside them with my camera, preserving the moments that spoke louder than anything I could ever write.
To the Younts — thank you for reminding us that real love is gentle, enduring, and beautifully alive. It was an honor to witness your day and to help tell a small part of your story.
The Palace of Fine Arts is one of the most breathtaking places to be married — a setting where history, architecture, and romance come together effortlessly. With its grand arches, elegant columns, and serene reflecting pool, the grounds feel timeless and cinematic, creating the perfect backdrop for a love story.
For this wedding, I photographed the day using both digital and film, blending tones and textures that beautifully complemented the architecture and the couple’s refined style. Every moment felt elevated and graceful — from quiet, tender embraces beneath the archways to portraits that looked like they belonged in a classic European romance.
The history woven into the stone, the stillness of the water, and the golden light throughout the grounds made this wedding feel nothing short of magical — a celebration surrounded by art, beauty, and the echoes of time.
