There are some weddings that stay with you long after the night is over — the kind that settle gently into your heart and remind you what love is truly meant to feel like. The Younts’ wedding was one of those rare and beautiful days.
I had the honor of second shooting this wedding alongside my dear friend Dani, and from the moment we arrived, there was a softness in the air — a tenderness between them that felt quiet, deep, and timeless. Their love didn’t need attention, or grand gestures, or noise. It simply was… steady, sincere, and full of grace.
At the end of the night, I told my husband that it felt like witnessing a real-life version of The Notebook — but somehow even more profound. Not the movie kind of love, but the kind that lives in small moments… the way they looked at one another, the tears in their families’ eyes, the way the room felt full of warmth and belonging.
It was a feeling I couldn’t fully put into words — something you carry inside you after witnessing it.
I left this wedding deeply touched by their story, grateful beyond words to have stood beside them with my camera, preserving the moments that spoke louder than anything I could ever write.
To the Younts — thank you for reminding us that real love is gentle, enduring, and beautifully alive. It was an honor to witness your day and to help tell a small part of your story.
